Nekketsu Fighting Legend
1992 · Technōs Japan · Kunio-kun · EN
Nekketsu Fighting Legend, known in Japan as Nekketsu Kakutō Densetsu, is a standout fighting game in the popular Kunio-kun series developed by Technōs Japan for the Famicom (NES). Diverging from the side-scrolling beat 'em up formula the series is famous for, this title focuses on frantic, four-player, arena-based brawls. The story kicks off when Kunio and his friends receive an invitation to a mysterious martial arts tournament to determine the strongest fighters in Japan. This invitation, sent by the enigmatic Tiger Twins, sets the stage for one of the most chaotic and beloved multiplayer experiences on the console. The unique charm of Nekketsu Fighting Legend lies in its blend of comedic action and competitive fighting.
