1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Game Hut ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Intellectual property and copyright notice
Important copyright notice. All game ROMs and related content — game programs, graphics, music, sound, characters and trademarks — are the intellectual property of their respective copyright holders. We do not own, and do not claim to own, any rights in any game content.
We do not create or sell ROMs. The ROMs and game content reachable here come from third parties (material circulating publicly on the internet, and files supplied by third parties); the Service only provides the technical means to run them in a browser.
That content is provided for study, preservation and nostalgia only. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to access and use it.
If you are a copyright holder and believe content here infringes your rights, contact us right away. We treat every valid notice seriously and will remove the content promptly once verified.
We reserve the right to remove any content on request from a rights holder, or when we become aware of a possible infringement.
3. Our own content
We do not own the games, but everything we made ourselves — interface design, page structure, original written copy, program code, data organisation, the site name and its marks — belongs to us and is protected by copyright and other laws. It may not be copied, redistributed, modified or used to create derivative works without written permission.
4. User responsibilities
- Make sure you have the legal right to access and use any game content.
- Do not use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
- Do not resell, redistribute or commercially exploit content reached through the Service.
- Do not post unlawful, infringing or abusive material, or other people’s private information, to the guestbook.
- Comply with the laws that apply where you are.
5. Copyright infringement notices
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.
If your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is reachable here, notify us by email, and include where possible: a description of the rights you hold, the location or name of the material, your contact details, and a good-faith statement.
We investigate every valid claim and take appropriate action, including removing content.

6. Availability and changes to the Service
We try to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Maintenance, technical faults, or circumstances beyond our control may take it down temporarily.
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, or limit certain features, at any time and without notice.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties, express or implied, as to its operation, availability or content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including any content reached through it.
You use the Service and its content at your own risk.
8. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where our servers are located, read together with applicable international copyright law.
Disputes arising from these terms or from use of the Service should first be settled by negotiation; failing that, they belong before a court of competent jurisdiction.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time. When we do, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the revised terms; if you do not agree, please stop using it.
