Hudson Soft
A prolific Famicom-era studio behind the Bomberman and Adventure Island series.
Founded in Sapporo in 1973, Hudson Soft began by making beekeeping equipment and grew into one of the most active third-party studios of the Famicom (NES) era as a close partner of Nintendo. Its Bomberman and Adventure Island games were staples of the time. The company was absorbed into Konami in 2012.
