Namco
The Japanese studio behind Pac-Man — a veteran arcade maker from before its merger with Bandai.
Founded in Tokyo in 1955, Namco was one of Japan’s oldest arcade and home-console makers. Its Pac-Man is one of the most successful arcade games ever, and Tekken, Ace Combat and the Tales series also bear its name. In 2005 it merged with Bandai to form Bandai Namco.
