Konami
A Japanese giant spanning arcades and home consoles, with classics in action, shooting and music games.
Konami was founded in Osaka in 1969, made its name in arcades, and went on to release home-console classics such as Contra, Castlevania, Metal Gear and Pro Evolution Soccer. It excels at side-scrolling action and shooting in particular — the Contra series and the arcade Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on this site are both its work.
