Technōs Japan
The Japanese studio behind Kunio-kun and Double Dragon — a pioneer of side-scrolling beat-’em-ups.
Founded in 1981, Technōs Japan developed the Kunio-kun (Renegade) series and the Double Dragon series. Its hot-blooded world and punchy beat-’em-up action influenced a whole generation of side-scrolling action games. The company folded in 1996, and its IPs were later picked up by Arc System Works.
